Heartland Produce Auction, Inc. is an LLC
corporation,
owned by several shareholders.
Opened for business in July 2004, we
built a new facility
for the purpose of selling produce grown by local farmers,
specifically to wholesale buyers, local stores, roadside stands,
farm markets, etc.
|
By 2006
an increase in the number of growers, as
well as an increased demand for the produce they raise,
required that the building be expanded by 80%, as well
as adding a new drive-through so that growers could have
their product sold right off of the wagon it came in on.
Anyone interested
in fresh grown produce is welcome to come and buy. There
are small lots and a retail table available.
